We Are Family!

Since the day the Mid-Columbia Senior Center opened in 1986, it has become a vital part of the community.

Many people refer to our building as their second home, a place to drop by for a cup of coffee, lunch, or to spend the day enjoying friends and the many activities. We are proud that we are more than just a building."

Through our partnerships with Area Agency on Aging, OSU Extension, AARP and other organizations, we provide classes and activities that strengthen the mind, body, and spirit.

We are also proud to lease space to The Dalles Meals on Wheels program, a separate non-profit, that serves nutritious meals at the Senior Center and delivers meals to home bound seniors every Monday through Friday at noon.

The Senior Center is a private non-profit corporation and recieves no tax support. It is funded by private donations, fundraising events, memorials, room rentals, NU-2-U shoppe, and memberships.
